i think i need this more than anyone do.
very much needed.
or else I will be very unhappy with what I am experiencing now.

listening to this song
indeed gives me the courage that I wanted.
although not all are mastered up yet,
but I believe one day I will have matters sorted out.
by then,
I will be feel very relieved le bah.

sometimes,
letting all out is not a good option.
although people always say that it is not good bottling up all.
but at times, truth hurts!

was bringing this idea up to Joanna,
when we were having our lunch at Serangoon Central,
after our SPCA Volunteering Services.

at first,
we were saying that IF WE have the funds,
we can set up an Economic Rice Stall.
as we noticed that besides the Drinks Stall and the Seafood Stall,
the Economic Rice Stall is another business venture that one can earn money/profit from.
obviously,
your food have to be tasty in order to have your customers coming back!

also, we can come up with promotions and offers,
to attract food patrons..
like, to collaborate with the Drink Stall for an offer..
e.g. when you buy a set meal, you will be issued a coupon for a free canned drink.
this way, you can encourage patrons to take up more of these offers.

next,
we came up with the idea of the Drive-Thru Coffee Shop.
not only will this bring convenience to those who drive to carry-away their food,
and this will solve the lack of parking lots problems.
this will also cut-down on manpower cost,
only if this Drive-Thru idea operates during the peak hours for meals (lunch and dinner).

of course there will definately be some problems with these ideas,
but ideas are dead,
we humans are alive.
as long as we are creative and innovative enough,
we are able to go against all odds..
and make this a successful one.

all these ideas can somehow be applied to
what we have learnt in our Principles Of Marketing class.
we must know how to 学以致用
[apply what we have learnt in reality]

女人的伟大，是无法用三言两语就能形容得出来的。
在这个二十一世纪的时代，社会上出现了很多所谓的事业女性或女强人。
但是也有些女性是属于相夫教子，兼顾家庭的主妇。
而家里的担子就交给丈夫去承担。

就因为这样，丈夫就有机会在外面捏花惹草。
女人一碰到这么样的一个丈夫，
第一时间就会大发雷霆，
像泼妇骂街般的责问丈夫，
并且开始变成了狗仔，
追查丈夫的一举一动，令丈夫无法窒息。

在我的生活圈子里，
碰到了一个完全不同的例子。
某小姐发现她的丈夫在外面有个狐狸精，
她还保持冷静，没有大吵大闹，
并且心平气和的想和她的丈夫好好地谈谈。
没想到，那位丈夫不但没有珍惜某小姐的一番心意，
还能够若无其事的生活。
有嗜好会对某小姐觉得厌烦，无缘无故就对她开骂，一点面子也不留。

某小姐说她为了两个孩子有个健康的成长过程，
所以忍了下来。
我告诉某小姐说这是她的家务事，我们这些旁人无法直接告诉她怎么做。
只能在旁边听她发发牢骚，让她的心情比较舒畅。

某小姐！ 加油！

that’s why you are lost in the middle of the whirlpool..

I agree that we all 有多少就会付出多少.
and also agree that sometimes people just take it as 理所当然.
just have to remember that 我们活在这个世界上，会遇到各式各样的人.
there isn’t anyone that can be as perfect as one could imagine and think of.
as long as you think of it this way:

“我在这方面付出
回报有可能会在另一个地方出现
有可能是现在
有可能是未来
凡事别太强求
生活才会多姿多彩”

with the sudden uproar of the Swine Flu (H151),
this set me thinking.

previously,
sometime in year 2003 (or even earlier),
there’s this SARS outbreak..
that cause a super-duper great commotion globally.

some time back,
we had the Bird Flu (Avian – H5N1)..
and these are from the poultry.
many were affected,
especially in countries with many farms.
these poultry have to be burnt,
to prevent the spread of H5N1 virus.

and now,
the pigs!
the Swine Flu has been affecting many,
especially from the Mexico City.
and it’s spreading!
Spreading real fast.
Air Borne, and human-to-human.

all these are originated from the animals.
maybe it’s due to mutations of some body functions/systems.
are they taking their revenge on us humans?
are they trying to tell us that since we can eat them,
then they can also do something to “pay us back”
- an eye for an eye?

that’s a possibility, ya?
some older generation people,
or those with conservative mentality,
can say that it’s the retribution cycle.
you reap what you sow.
there’s a Chinese saying: “风水轮流转”

well,
my prediction is,
maybe in the future,
the vegetables will take their turn.
who knows?
anything can happen to anyone, anywhere and anytime.

hey hey,
put on your thinking cap and think about this for a moment.
what makes us (humans) develop more and more advanced communication devices?
well, when I attended lecture this morning,
my lecturer mentioned something about being effective and efficient.
I guess that’s part of the reasons.

can you think of other reasons for the advancement in communication technology?

what about this?
In the past, where people still live in the era like the Tang or Qing Dynasty,
these people will communicate with each other using the pigeons as their “postman” <飞鸽传书>.
Try to imagine in the present day without internet, emails, facsimile, mobile phones, computers, etc..
what do you think will happen?

Well,
whenever you look up in the sky,
you can see millions and millions of pigeons flying around,
with the messages that we want to deliver to the other party.
with all the pigeons in the sky,
we will be fretting over bird-droppings that may hit on us..
worse of all..
Airplanes will not be able to fly passengers around the world.
moreover, what will happen if our pigeons are lost?
will our pigeons turn into a delicacy by some tribal troupe?

Hence,
to avoid that from happening..
we humans have developed advanced technology like mobile phones, internet, emails for us to communicate with people from all over the world.
