>> Belated Birthday Celebration with Besties`

Yesterday, I’ve had a wonderful dinner gathering with my Besties at home.
I met Junie at Ang Mo Kio Hub to do our final shopping for the night’s dinner.
Then, we proceeded to my house,
to wait for Esther and Joan’s arrival..

while waiting for them,
me and Junie set up the Christmas Tree..
In the midst of fixing the branches of the tree,
Joan arrived at my house.
She joined us in hanging the decorations on the tree.
As Esther had not arrived,
we have decided to entrust the “lighting ceremony” to her.

Shortly after Esther arrived,
we started dinner.
Yes, we were having steamboat at my house.
We had a wonderful dinner,
accompanied by a Movie VCD – First Daughter,
and had slice of cake from Martin (Esther’s Brother).
the cake was delicious.

As for what birthday presents that Besties get for me,
hmm..
Flurry Carpet (Grey)
Big soft Cushion (Black)

And we exchanges X’mas gift too.
Reason for being so early,
is that Joan will be away during the X’mas holiday..
yeap, and I will be celebrating X’mas in Junie’s house
(as usual.. Her mum prepares good food, always..)

today is Ah Gong’s Birthday.

received a birthday card from my insurance agent..
wanna thank 破牙，会吃 and 因为..
cos they are amongst the first few to wish me happy birthday.

followed by Chong Ho Gor..
and then Ah Gong..

den my Aunt – 美兰姑姑..
and den.. Qiu Ying..

破牙，会吃 and 因为 gave me a new name – 会选. (全名：很会选)
wahahaa..
what a name!!

and my greatest wish is..
yea, I’m waiting for it..
hope my wish will come true?

2nd Bestie’s 23rd Birthday!
hahahahs..

after work on 18 July 2009,
I traveled to Jurong Point to meet up with Junie for lunch.
and then we walked around, while waiting for Ms Joan.

finally, Ms. Joan reached JP at 3:15pm.
and we went to various gift shops,
intending to look for a bear in a graduating outfit.
but too bad, can’t find..

at about 4pm plus,
we went to D.I.Y a birthday cake for Esther..

when it’s about 5pm, we traveled to Novena.
and proceeded to a steamboat eatery.

after eating,
we were practically bloating to the max.
luckily the cake that we decorated is very small – about 4 inches.
so, it’s not that bad.

>> Zaw Lin’s Convocation`

heh heh heh..
attended Zaw Lin’s Convocation with Ivy this evening.
and also met up with his 2 elder brothers.
ahahahhas..
as we have no tickets for the entrance to the theatre,
we were seated at the reception area,
and watch the ceremony via the TV sets that they placed/installed there.

me and Ivy waited until Zaw Lin received the certificate from the presenter.
before the whole ceremony begins,
me and Ivy took some pictures with Zaw Lin.

when me and Ivy were about to leave,
before the whole ceremony ends..
Zaw Lin’s 2nd (Zaw Tun) and 3rd brother (Zaw Kim) drove me and Ivy out to Dover MRT station.

me and Ivy took the MRT till Kovan,
and had our dinner cum supper at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe (next to Heartland Mall).
after our meals,
we headed home respectively.

>> Junie’s 23rd Birthday Celebration`

Bestie’s birthday celebration is brought forward.
we have planned to have dinner at Tampines 1, Manpuku  =)
it’s a Japanese Food Town which operates just like Mache..

hmm,
Besties say that the food is so-so only..
but the desserts – Fruit cake and parfait are nice!!

Strongly recommend this cake above! It’s really nice!

if you are game for some almond flavor, you can try this cake!!

there’s green tea flavour too!! can try lah..~~

After dinner,
we went for a movie
“Night at the Museum 2″
nice and hilarious show!!
ahahahhahs.
movie lasted for about 1hr 40mins.

after movies,
we proceed on to Liang Seah St for desserts.

while having our desserts,
we chatted and discussed about some plans to solve problems..
and finally,
we come up with a “guideline” of how our plan should be executed  =)

after desserts,
i drove the 3 Besties home..
yeap..
and I reached home at about 2:30am..
whahahaa!!

>> Chong Ho Gor’s Birthday Celebration`

met shiqin and tingting and weitian yesterday at tpy mrt station,
before proceeding to parkway parade.
upon reaching,
we went on to select a birthday present for Chong Ho Bro..
after a few selections,
we decided on a cup “Designated Listener”
and a mug cover (with a mouse on top)

选完礼物过后
我们就朝着我们的主要活动的地点出发
对了！
就是去唱 K~~
then, Chong Ho Bro and Steven came respectively..
我们点了很多首歌
就轮流唱
越唱越 HIGH“
yeap..
we sang from 1pm to 7pm..
and that costs us only SGD37.00
cheap horh??

after which,
we proceed on to Aston’s Restaurant..
虽然得排一下下的队
但根据他们说这已经算不错了
and met up with Ah-Gong..
and we had a wonderful dinner.
可是鸡肉卖完了!!
Ahahahhs,
事情是这样的
5 out of 7 of us ordered food of Chicken..
den the staff/waiter came to us..
and told us that they ran out of chicken..
hence, they have to reorder their food..

after dinner,
当然要唱生日歌和切蛋糕咯..
还有礼物.
ahahahs..
yeap yeap..

付账了,
我们就开始往回家的路出发..
虽然玩了一整天,
有点累,
可是很高兴..
也不能一直闷在家里,
埋在书堆当中吧!

yesterday after work,
met up with Joanna and had lunch with her at TPY Central.
after that,
we went to a florist to get flowers for both our BELOVED mummies..

here’s what I give my mummy for this once-a-year occasion,
although it’s simple,
but who don’t know that 简单就是美?
chose 3 roses, which represents the 3 of us..

as I’m still in my exam period,
hence,
i’ve let my mummy know that we will celebrate with her at end of May,
my mummy says,
“OK! your exams is more important.. You should know your mummy is not particular with all these (formalities), ‘one day mother, whole life mother..’ “

received an sms from Chong Ho Bro..
asking if I’m free on Thursday evening..
to celebrate Steven’s birthday..

Sure! ahahahas..
have lesson on that day,
therefore need not report for work.

Bro mentioned that he will confirm with me the “details” again on Wednesday…

Chong Ho Bro sms’d me..
informed me..
meet 6pm at North Point (Yishun)..
asked me if I want to meet him in School,
after my lessons den proceed to North Point together..

Yes!
definately that’s a good idea..

Thursday (9 April 2009)

After lessons at 4pm,
went to meet Chong Ho Bro and WeiTian somewhere in school..
den we took bus and MRT to Yishun.

since we are the early ones,
we went around and try to look for Steven’s Present.
hahahahs..
Lots of funny ideas came up..

A while later,
Shi Qin and his GF, Ting Ting arrived.
and we discussed which present to buy for Steven.
decided to get him a shirt.

went to Royal Sporting House,
and SportsLink..
But couldnt find one that is compatible to Steven.
we walked and roamed around,
till we saw Converse.

chose 2 t-shirt designs that suits Steven.
and, Yes!
decided to get these as Steven’s present  =)

We went up to this Japanese Food Court
(Forget the name for it liao)
waited awhile before we went to get our food.

by 7pm,
our attendance is full-strength…

after eating dinner,
me, Chong Ho Bro, Shi Qin and Ting Ting…

in the end,
we opt for Bakerzin’s C-Cup Coffee Cake.
ahahha..
interesting name oh!?!

when we return back to the Food Court,
we were “greeted by” two santa-clause.
Steven and Ah Gong..
cos they went to Japan and Australia (respectively).
and they were distributing souvenirs..

after dinner,
we have decided to catch a movie..
“Knowing”
quite a meaningful movie.
but i still need to organise my thoughts,
before I can really understand the message that the movie is trying to bring across.

after movie,
it’s already 11:30 pm..
and it’s time for us to make our way back home..

for waiting the bus with me.
ahahahs..
or else I will be a gigantic sotong,
wondering where my bus-stop will be.
Ahahahas..
