2nd Bestie’s 23rd Birthday!
hahahahs..
after work on 18 July 2009,
I traveled to Jurong Point to meet up with Junie for lunch.
and then we walked around, while waiting for Ms Joan.
finally, Ms. Joan reached JP at 3:15pm.
and we went to various gift shops,
intending to look for a bear in a graduating outfit.
but too bad, can’t find..
at about 4pm plus,
we went to D.I.Y a birthday cake for Esther..

when it’s about 5pm, we traveled to Novena.
and proceeded to a steamboat eatery.

after eating,
we were practically bloating to the max.
luckily the cake that we decorated is very small – about 4 inches.
so, it’s not that bad.
Bestie’s birthday celebration is brought forward.
we have planned to have dinner at Tampines 1, Manpuku =)
it’s a Japanese Food Town which operates just like Mache..
hmm,
Besties say that the food is so-so only..
but the desserts – Fruit cake and parfait are nice!!
Strongly recommend this cake above! It’s really nice!
if you are game for some almond flavor, you can try this cake!!
there’s green tea flavour too!! can try lah..~~

After dinner,
we went for a movie
“Night at the Museum 2″
nice and hilarious show!!
ahahahhahs.
movie lasted for about 1hr 40mins.
after movies,
we proceed on to Liang Seah St for desserts.
while having our desserts,
we chatted and discussed about some plans to solve problems..
and finally,
we come up with a “guideline” of how our plan should be executed =)
after desserts,
i drove the 3 Besties home..
yeap..
and I reached home at about 2:30am..
whahahaa!!
yesterday was 1 June,
new day, new month, new beginning..
have been busy for the past one week..
since the last day of my exams, i have been waking up early,
and going out..
never felt time passes this quickly..
finally,
although tml still have to go out,
but,
it’s in the afternoon..
so I can sleep in quite late in the morning =)
recently,
something happen to one of by Besties..
and I have been racking my brain to find various possible solutions to help her.
scolded her yesterday afternoon..
i scolded her because I am worried and concerned for her.
i don’t know what else I can do to help her.
my heart is trickling with tears.
it didnt occur to me that such a thing will happen to my Bestie.
all I hope now is that my Bestie can stand on her feet again,
and not trust people easily..
and learn her lesson.
what we can do know is to stand by her,
And support her morally..
lend her our listening ears..
Hey Bestie,
next time,
please do not hide things to yourself..
do let us know what happen..
And dont wait till things are getting out of hand,
and when we “force” you to say..
den you let us know..
by then,
it’s too late liao..

and I’m done with my 2nd year’s exam.

2 more weeks (12 days),
and I’ll be free from books..
temporarily!

there are many things that I wanna do..
after the exams and before the next term starts.
for example,
attain my Class 3 driving license
(although I had attained Class 3A)..
resume my SPCA voluntary work,
earn lots of $$ (and save up) for next year’s holiday..
and most importantly,
exercise!!
of course,
there will be meet ups with friends..
celebrating Bestie’s birthday..
chalet-gathering with Uni-friends..
going to IT fair with Bestie..
facials with Besties..
celebrating Uncle’s birthday..
oh!!
father’s day too!
it’s nice to now a bunch of these besties.
whenever I need to chat with them over trival matters,
they will always be available for me..
for these past 2 months,
whenever I need someone to make me “relax” and de-stress,
they would not hesitate to chat with me..

it seems that the besties’ collage is not nicely done..

yesterday after my Sunday work,
met up with Junie, Esther and Joan for Lunch at Pasta de Waraku at Novena.
as as as usual,
Joan’s always the one who turns up late.
ahahahs..
we ordered our food from the Lunch Set Menu.
(A+B) type.
hahahs..
so each of us will have 2 different food for our lunch.

after lunch,
Esther has to go home to rest..
and continue with her projects and revision for her exams in April.
with Esther’s absence,
me and Junie started to bully Joan.
hahahhas..
whenever Joan mentioned something..
especially those that we dunno what/how to react,
me and Junie will start to ignore Joan’s crap..
and side-track the conversation..
hahahs..

don’t mean to do that to you.
ahahhas..
but, sometimes it’s quite fun bullying you lah..
me, Junie and Joan proceeded to Douby Ghaut, The Cathay,
to catch our movie.
ever since days before our gathering,
we have been deciding what movie to watch.
and eventually,
we bought tickets for Race to Witch Mountain..
starred by The Rock.
and yes! He ROCKS..
after the movie,
Joan started to get hungry.
wahahah..
so we went to Plaza Singapura..
and walk around the basement area,
to look for food that can attract our appetite.
in the end, we settled for some shih-lin look-alike food.
we ordered 2 oyster mee-sua.
one for Joan..
one for me and Junie to share as we were not really hungry.
and also ordered a set of chicken cutlet.
after having our meals,
we headed for home.
Junie has to work the next day (today).
accompanied Junie to take the train to Raffles Place..
and me and Joan continued until Marina Bay,
and wait for the train to loop back towards Jurong East.
reached home at about 9pm..
chatted with Junie online till about 10pm..
and then turn in for the day. =)

initially, we had arranged to go individually to Junie’s place.
as Joan has to go to church before proceeding to Junie’s.
when I am almost leaving my house,
i received a phone call from our dear Joan..
saying that she has overslept on the bus,
and practically missing her stop..
therefore, we planned to meet at Clementi MRT station instead..
den proceed to Junie’s place from there..
when we reached Boon Lay MRT station,
we head for NTUC Fairprice..
and bought a bottle of sparkling wine (Fruit wine)..
after settling the bill,
we went to the bus interchange,
and board the bus towards Junie’s place.

initially say 12 plus 1pm reach ur housey..
den in the end we 1 plus den reach..
and we are the latest wor..
apologies, ya?
Junie’s mom always prepare a sumptous meal for us..
delicious and mouth-watering food..
always tempting me to have seconds and thirds..

after Monopoly,
we had a small time for present opening..
ahahhahas..
Joan got me a piggy-bank (pink), multi-crayon pen and a keychain..
Junie got me a keychain and a flower (i suppose that’s a cup coaster?)..

it’s a pity that Esther couldn’t join us in this festive season.
must be too stressed up with her final year project bah..
poor thing..

dun pressurize urself too much oh..
although need to work hard den have good grades..
but sometimes, adequate rest and break-times is inevitable, and also contributes to better quality work.. =)
do get sufficient rest and strive on..
