was bringing this idea up to Joanna,
when we were having our lunch at Serangoon Central,
after our SPCA Volunteering Services.
at first,
we were saying that IF WE have the funds,
we can set up an Economic Rice Stall.
as we noticed that besides the Drinks Stall and the Seafood Stall,
the Economic Rice Stall is another business venture that one can earn money/profit from.
obviously,
your food have to be tasty in order to have your customers coming back!
also, we can come up with promotions and offers,
to attract food patrons..
like, to collaborate with the Drink Stall for an offer..
e.g. when you buy a set meal, you will be issued a coupon for a free canned drink.
this way, you can encourage patrons to take up more of these offers.
next,
we came up with the idea of the Drive-Thru Coffee Shop.
not only will this bring convenience to those who drive to carry-away their food,
and this will solve the lack of parking lots problems.
this will also cut-down on manpower cost,
only if this Drive-Thru idea operates during the peak hours for meals (lunch and dinner).
of course there will definately be some problems with these ideas,
but ideas are dead,
we humans are alive.
as long as we are creative and innovative enough,
we are able to go against all odds..
and make this a successful one.
all these ideas can somehow be applied to
what we have learnt in our Principles Of Marketing class.
we must know how to 学以致用
[apply what we have learnt in reality]
