but really enjoy this lunch..
after our IBM lessons at 11:30am,
me and Ying Hui went to the SIM’s Library to check out the directory.
because.. me and Ying Hui don’t know our way there..
I suggested to have lunch today the previous week,
and propose to eat at Tiong Bahru Food Centre (NEW)..
Ying Hui is fine with the arrangement,
therefore, we went ahead as planned.
after finding out everything that we need to know,
me and Ying Hui proceeded to the bus-stop opposite SIM HQ,
and take MRT to Tiong Bahru MRT Station.
afterwhich, we have to take a bus to our destination..
seriously speaking,
when we alight from the bus,
me and Ying Hui immediately transformed ourselves to “LOCAL” tourist.
we asked for directions before getting to our destination.
ahahahha..
very “mountain tortoise” right?
about 5-10 mins later,
me and Ying Hui saw our destination..
alast lorh..!!
by then,
our stomachs are starting to orchastrate..
that is the first time Ying Hui has been to Tiong Bahru.
Whoots!!
she’s fascinated by the spacious environment.
at least, there’s no worry in finding a place for us to settle down.
i introduced Ying Hui to a bowl of Shark’s Meat Lor Mee.
and guaranteed that it will be nice.
true enough,
she also agreed with me that’s nice.
at Tiong Bahru Food Centre,
there’s many stalls selling all kinds of food.
we are spoilt for choices leh..
dunno what to eat..
think we can go there more often to try out the different foods served there.
after the Lor Mee,
me and Ying Hui proceeded to the dessert stall to order some desserts.
at first, i wanted to order Red Ruby..
in the end, i changed my mind to Ice Blended Sour Plum and Lime..
Ying Hui ordered Ice Kachang.
we chatted for a while,
while eating our dessert.
it’s a hot hot hot day outside.
therefore,
the desserts serve a good purpose,
at least we don’t feel so “sinful” eating such sweet stuffs.
cos we have another good reason to rebuke the sinful one.
ahahahhas..
after lunch,
it’s when the “happenings” began.
me and Ying Hui couldn’t find the intended bus-stop for us to go home.
we walked around the vicinity,
and looked at the bus-stops’ service no. plates.
but there isn’t any familiar bus service no. that can allow us to take.
after a few minutes,
me and Ying Hui walked towards SHELL PETROL KIOSK.
bought 2 bottles of mineral water,
and asked the cashier if she know any bus-stops in the surrounding area with our service no.
just then, a kind soul overheard over conversation,
and volunteered to drive us to OUTRAM MRT STATION.
from there,
me and Ying Hui found our way home from the bus-stops there.
would like to thank the driver who offered to give us a lift.
she said,”If you trust me, I can drive you to OUTRAM MRT STATION. the bus-stop there will have the service no. that you are looking for..”
at that time, me and Ying Hui were desperately looking for help to get out of Tiong Bahru area,
since we are unfamiliar with it.
we really have the “tourists” feeling at that time.
really happening!!
ahahahs..
there’s a lot of food at Tiong Bahru Food Centre.
but, the main problem is,
I couldn’t find the way to the bus-stop that I could find a service no. to bring me home.
therefore, couldn’t suggest this makan option to Joanna and gang yet.
like what Ying Hui said, shall look up for more information in the internet..
or else we will be LOST SHEEP again.
