i’m suppose to have IBM lessons today.
but my time-table doesn’t show.
therefore, don’t have to go school for the lesson.
maybe lecturer is on leave bah..

but but but,
i am worried that I couldn’t catch up with the lesson wor..
I’ve failed this paper once,
can’t afford to fail liao wor..
have to study damn hard now.

may god bless with me clear mind and good concentration,
so i can do well in my studies and proceed on to the next level smoothly  =)
will also work hard on my end.
let’s all look forward to my achievements bah  =P

yesterday,
is my 3rd time going to SPCA volunteering to walk the doggies.
within that 3 times in SPCA,
have encountered 2 puppies being adopted.
am very very happy for them.
Way to go, Mac and Jill..
and and and.. Tin Tin is pending for adoption too.
Glad to know that you’ve found a good owner to take care of you.

it’s such a pity that those older and bigger-sized dogs were not considered to be adopted.
at least that’s what my daddy thinks.. or rather, what the public think so.
usually, when people start considering to rear a pet at home,
they would start off with a puppy..
that’s exactly what my family is thinking of too.
therefore, those abandoned older and bigger-sized dogs at the shelter,
i personally feel that they are actually counting their remaining days..

however, as long as we take them out for a walk,
and show them that there are still people here at SPCA to care for and look after them,
i believe their existence is worthwhile..
am really sad for them..
especially when they look at me with their eyes.
somehow, can see the sad and pathetic look in them..
they are yearning for care and love from people around them..

i happen to encounter a dog – Darren..
he’s been abused by his owner before he was sent to SPCA.
now, he has a phobia against strangers.
whenever “new” people go near him,
he will bare his teeth and growl..
this has never happen to other animals in the shelter before.
seeing Darren behaving like this, my heart turns sour..

there isn’t anything i can do, except to bring them out for walks..
showing them care and concern,
and play with them whenever I can..

People out there,
it’s not their choice to be at the animal shelter.
they are abandoned there by their owners..
they are well deserved of your care and concern more than some mankind out in the society doing harm..

finally!!
it’s school day..
hahahhas..
been waiting for near 4 months..

very excited.
cos able to meet some of the Uni friends again..
we need to “mark our attendance” at the entrance of the lecture theatre..
and to collect our notes for PMKG.
o.O
notes damn thick.
about the thickness of 1 rim of papers (500 pieces).
hahahahha..
poOr trees…….

Damn heavy lorh..
somemore after PMKG lesson, I have to attend another lesson, ESAP.
ahahahha..
preparing for the worse,
me and Dave went to ESAP class..
true enough,
the notes for ESAP is about 75% of PMKG.

oh god!!
how can i carry such heavy loads??
i looked around,
and found an A4 paper box.
i used the box to store those heavy and bulky notes.

k lah..
a bit tired for now.
need to get used to school life again.
think i’ll be more shag in year 2 than in year 1.
well, in anyway..

it’s very hectic at work this evening!
can’t even sit down and catch my breath..
finally after the first hour has flew by,
i could take a deep deep breath and “phew!!”

the door opens,
there came a lady walking in..
she seems familiar.
but just couldn’t remember her name..
her name has caught my tongue.

that lady looked at me with a peculiar look.
she finds me familiar too.
she asked me “Efonda?”
den i replied, “表姨?”
hahahhas..
*long lost relative*

she updated me that she has just moved to Blk 236.
whoot!! what a coincidence..!!
hahahaha..
it’s been some time, ya?

>> a day at SPCA`

when they look at you,

you can feel that your heart is wrenching.
can’t bear to see them all caged up,
with no freedom at all.

but trainer said that it’s better than they are homeless.
at least they are taken care of, fed, and have a roof over their heads.
am happy to know that Mac was adopted.
Feel so happy for him.

although i’ve walked Mac once, and beginning to miss him now.
but it’s always better that he has found a good owner.
Way to go, Mac!!  (too bad didnt have time to take picture with him)

have taken some pictures of the dogs.
hahahas..
tried my best to take the pictures liao.
although some shots rather blur,
but it’s ok lah.. cos the dogs are moving ma..  =P

>> Derrick’s 2nd Autograph Session`

the above pictures are abstract from the collection which i’ve taken on the day of event.
k lah..
everyone was so damn damn high when Derrick appears.
the moment he stepped out of the waiting area,
the cameras have not been stopping.
the fans (including myself) continuously taking pictures of him.

host for the day is Y.E.S. 93.3 radio station’s DJ, Lin Pei Fen.
some fans “won the entitlement” to go up on stage,
to compete on Derrick’s song [咬字] – rapping.
whoever wins the rap, get to take a picture with Derrick!!

throughout the whole Autograph Session,
Derrick sang [无法归类],[我舍不得] and [咬字].
he’s busy singing,
and we fans busy taking pictures and videos.
ahahahs.

there are some tallies in front of me.
therefore, i have to tip-toe in order to get some nice shots.
quite tiring to get nice shots eh..?
doesn’t come easy.
ahahahas.

besides,
my digital camera can’t zoom that far..
but i did my best to get the very most zoomed-in ones already.
although some shots are blur,
but well, did my best liao lorh..
Junie’s camera better.
can zoom even closer to Derrick..  =D

finally,
it’s time for him to autograph on his album le.
me and Junie queued up and chatted while waiting for our turn =P
when it’s our turn to go on stage,
we wished Derrick Happy Birthday,
he signed on our album,
and hand-shaked with us.

actually hor,
he’s of petite size only leh..
ahaahahas..
what a fun and memorable day!!

after the session,
me and Junie went to run some errands,
before proceeding to her house to reformat my 2 lappies  =D

>> supper with the guys`

we are suppose to meet at 9pm.
but I told them I have to work till 9pm.
therefore, i will be late.
they are ok with it, rather flexible with the timing.
understandable lah..

yesterday is the first day of work after my week’s break.
the doc went in to the clinic at about 7:05pm.
earlier than expected     =x
but, he only sees the first patient that is registered on the list close to 8pm.
almost one hour gone.

there are a total of 15 patients last night.
and it’s totally a mad rush for me.
i have to make sure i attend to them in the sequence (or timing) that they register with me.
there are some patients coming to the clinic to do Full Health Screening.
therefore, have to prepare the request form for the lab, get ready the blood tubes and urine/stool bottles for them.
most importantly, have to make sure that the correct form and “accessories” goes to the correct person.
luckily, i managed to get over it after some time.

the last patient left at 9:20pm.
just than,
bro called me.
said that they are waiting for me outside the seafood restaurant.

Phew!!
shouldn’t make them wait for me for so long lorh..
so i faster calculate the money, make sure that the “account” tallies.
and cleared the room, make sure that there isn’t any rubbish in the bin..
switched off all the lights, fans and air-con switch..
faster pull the shutter.
and locked the door.

sorry guys for making you all wait for me to knock off.
damn paiseh siah..

we had prata for supper.
delicious neh..

>> a trip down to ICA`

now is 9:50am – 9 Sept 2008.
a day that has a significant memory.
cos,
I will be making a trip down to ICA to have my name change on the NRIC and Passport.
a turning point for me, ya? (at least in one way or another lah).

however,
I am beginning to get worried.
because, the chinese characters are from Kang Xi Dictionary.
which is not commonly used in the present days.
rather, they are used by the “fortune-tellers” whom people approach for a change of name.
therefore, the chinese characters are not that common.

wonder if ICA have the program that can read the characters or not.
i’ve saved a set of characters in my thumbdrive.
if their PC do not have the characters, at least they can copy-paste from my thumb-drive, eh?
but but but, what if their PC cant READ the characters?
den i dunno what to do liao  =X

well,
hope for the best.
i will update more after the trip to ICA.

got back from you-know-where.
it’s really a bad experience.
their system do not have one of the chinese character of my name.
this is so unbelievable.
they apologize for not being able to process the change of particulars for me.
they told me that they will create the character,
and give me a call after that.
I have to wait again before I am able to get my name changed and do the necessary.

was thinking that I could get my NRIC and Passport done before the commencement of the school.
but it seems that all my plans are affected.
thanks to you-know-who-or-what.
this is bringing me great inconvenience.
but what to do?
I owe my identity to you-know-who-or-what.
so can’t make a big fuss over this matter.

think have to wait for a few more days before I could get everything done before starting to inform the necessary organizations.
have to wait “patiently”~~

Junie is a friend whom I should say that is hard to come by once a life-time.

relatives are pardoned.
cos they are used to call me Wan Qiu liao.
