事情发生得太突然了。

我顿时愣住了！

“Jany 的儿子刚刚 commit suicide.”
“huh? how come? 这么sudden… den how?”
“think we have to cover her for about 1 month, that’s what Dr Tan says.”
“oOh.. ok, no problem.. 能帮多少就帮多少. 儿子多大了？”
“14 years old. Sec 2.”
and so on..
我完全没办法相信我所听到的一切。
只能够尽量帮助那位同事。

during her 22nd Birthday.

supposed to meet at 11:30am.
but Joan overslept.
so we met slightly later.
i met up with Junie first.
den proceed to suntec city’s food terrace.
chope seats and eat first..
so that when Joan arrives, she can buy her food.
i was taken aback when Joan told us that she has broken up with her boyfriend.
a 5.5years and 3 days’ relationship – gone like that.
feel sad for her.
but she has to move on.
if the guy show no responses towards this situation,
there’s nothing that the girl can do.
she has to brace up and move on with life.
after lunch,
we went on to [... to be filled in afterwards ...]
after [... ... ...],
we went to raffles city to have hi-tea.
at JCO donuts.
we each ordered our snacks..
and chatted away..
soon, it’s 4pm.
Joan and I have to go.
cos Joan has to teach tuition at 5:30pm,
while i need to proceed to the clinic.
although I am early,
but i can do some house-keeping at my own sweet time..
yeap..

den we walked around Raffles City Basement 1.
while waiting for Sarah.
she’s late.
at the same time,
we scout around for a place to eat.
decided on a western restaurant.
nice ambiance.
nice food.
attracted by the steak.
but in the end didnt order.
ahahaha..
at close to 8pm,
Sarah arrived.
as we waited for our food to be served,
we chatted on many topics.
but it’s always circling around school and work.
wanna thanks Sophia, Sarah and Lien for the Esprit Gift Vouchers (my 21st birthday gift)..
ahaha.
although came in late.
but it’s the thought that counts..
i will make full use of the vouchers and wont waste it =P
celebrated Fathers’ Day with a chocolate cake.

met Chong Ho Gor Gor and Kian Heng Ah Gong at Toa Payoh Interchange.
i’m the first to reach =P
we waited for Steven, Shi Qin and Wei Tian at Coffee Bean.
with the intention to go Turf City for Buffet or Steamboat.
in the end, the restaurant is nowhere to be found.
so we toOk the shuttle bus back to Toa Payoh.
and take a train to Novena.
While entering Toa Payoh MRT Station,
I saw BoOn Yu and Anthony.
at first i couldn’t recognise them lorh.
cos they have a “new” haircut – army style.
waved at them, and went in the gantry of the MRT station.
in the end, we ate Chicken Rice at an outlet opposite Novena Square.
the Gor Gors ordered 1/2 steamed and 1/2 roasted chicken, sauced veggie and hotplate toufu.
i ate half plate of rice, another half give my Ah Gong.
den i think Shi Qin and Wei Tian ordered additional rice.
wah!!
the guys sure eat alot eh..
scary!!
after eating,
dear Ah Gong says he’s not full.
oOh lala..
we walked to Novena square,
loiter around..
and decided to head towards TTSH’s Starbucks.
but hor,
by the time we are there,
they are in the midst of “closing shop”..
so we headed to the food court..
and the guys “lim kopi” and have their desserts there..
chatted for a while..
den decided to head back home.
well guys,
enjoyed this day very much wor.
thanks Bro for organising..
although couldn’t have the food that we have initially planned,
but it’s the gathering that counts, eh?
next time de gathering we all take pictures?
met Junie yesterday for a movie.
at harbourfront – Vivocity.
watched Narnia.
time of movie = 12:30pm
bought tickets at 11:45am.
therefore there’s still time to spare.
so we “loiter” around the shopping centre.
and at the same time,
get some snacks for the movie..
and hunt for an eating place after the movie.

the movie lasted for about 145 mins.
by the time it ended,
it’s already 3:15pm.
me and Junie walked to White Dog Cafe for our late lunch.
ordered set lunch meals.
Junie had the salmon fillet, while i had the chicken fillet.
after lunch, we went to the toilet.
den proceed to the outdoors to take some pictures.
it was quite windy.
so couldn’t take some nice shots.
but those taken are acceptable lah.
ahaaha.
after strolling for a while,
we took a train back.
as i have to work at 7pm,
therefore can’t accompany Junie for long.
Junie, hope you’ve had a great day.

on this faithful day (07062008),
me and Joan had arranged to meet at Boon Lay MRT Station, at 3pm.
however, Joan ended her tuition lesson late,
therefore we have to meet slightly later.
instead, on my way to meeting Joan,
i decided to alight at Jurong East MRT interchange,
and wait for Joan there,
before we hop on to the train proceeding to Boon Lay’s direction.
we reached Junie’s house at about 4:30pm.
along the way,
we thought of a plan to “fool” Junie.
because we shared Green Crumpler Bag for Junie’s present.
and we wanna give her a surprise.
therefore, we posed off the bag as Joan’s possession.
and went to Junie’s house “empty-handed”.
the moment we stepped into Junie’s house,
she saw the bag,
and was filled with envy.
she really thought the bag was Joan’s.
Plan went on well.
to prevent further suspicion,
i saw Junie’s aunt playing Viwawa on the PC,
and faster went to her..
we played PC games for a short while,
before Junie’s mum announced that it’s time to eat.
we had teppanyaki-BBQ for dinner =)
ate quite a lot.
with lots of teasing and jokes at the table.
after sometime,
all of us were rather full. (at least i am)..
so we proceed to the living room to catch some tv programs.
at first, we wanted to watch Narnia (not the current one).
but the disc is not working in perfect condition.
therefore, we switched to Nanny McPhee.
a very nice and hilarious show.
we watched this show while Junie’s Poly friends and Esther were eating.
after a while,
they joined us for the show.
when the show is finished,
it’s time to cut the cake.
toOk some pictures.
and sang “Happy Birthday” song.
asked Junie to unwrap her presents.
and all were her favorites.
Green.. Crumpler Bag.. Chip & Dale..
Junie’s Poly friends went off first.
me, Esther and Joan stayed behind to watch another film.

we watched till about 11pm.
it’s rather late,
therefore we have to bid farewell to Junie’s mother and aunt.
we went downstairs to take a bus.
reached the MRT station in no time.
Joan alighted first.
followed by Esther.
last one to alight – me.
think i’ve missed my last bus.
waited for nearly 20 mins,
and there’s no sign of Bus Service No. 13.
msg’d my brother.
asked him where is he.
he’s outside.
near the vicinity.
told me to wait for him.
he will arrive in a short while.
by the time i reached home,
it’s nearly 1am!!
hhahaa.
well, though tired.
but had a fun day.
